Setting Up Consider where you are going to place the aquarium. Avoid direct sunlight and areas that experience large temperature

Place the aquarium on a level surface strong enough to support the weight of the aquarium, all equipment, substrate, ornaments and water in the aquarium. Note that water is heavy (1kg per litre).

P REPARE A QUARIUM

Unpack all components and remove all packing materials.

Rinse all filter components and the aquarium body in clean tap water.

Place Ceramic and Carbon Cartridges into the filter chamber.

Connect the Pump, Joiner, Uplift Hose and Elbow as shown.

Lower the Pump Assembly into the pump chamber. Fit the elbow into the hole and secure by connecting the Duckbill Outlet.

Place the heater on the side of the aquarium.

Never plug the heater in unless it is fully submerged in water. Damage to the heater or the aquarium may result from running the heater out of water.
