Rinsing Filter Components Before First Use *FilterAir 235 only. °Replace airstone if the flow is reduced.

As with all aquarium equipment, it is recommended to rinse the sponge and filter components in clean water before installation. This is the only time tap water should touch the filter components.

DO NOT WASH WITH SOAP, DETERGENTS, OR ANY CHEMICALS NOT INTENDED FOR AQUARIUM USE.
