Positioning the Heater
Position the heater where the water flow is highest.
To fix the Heater in position, press the suctions cups firmly against the aquarium wall.
The heater should not come in contact with the substrate. This may cause a hot spot on the glass and cause the heater to crack. Always disconnect the heater from the power supply prior to
Setting the Heater
working on the aquarium, or removing the heater. Allow 15 minutes for the heater to cool before handling. Never plug the heater in unless fully submerged in water. It is important to maintain the water level at all times.
Allow the heater to acclimate to the water temperature before switching on.
Rotate the Control Knob to set the temperature. The line between the coloured and white sections of the Temperature shows the set temperature.
