Feed fish and invertebrates.

Check water level and top up if required.

Check that all equipment is running.

Test water with a testing kit*and a hydrometer*.

Never rinse biological filter media such as the Sponge and Ceramic Noodles in tap water as this will disrupt the beneficial bacteria that live on the Media and can lead to harm or deaths of the aquarium inhabitants.

Fortnightly - 25% water change

Make sure that you have enough

water prepared to refill the Aquarium. Wherever possible, prepare the water days or even a week in advance.

Turn off the power and unplug. Remove the Glass Lids and LED Light.

Use a sponge or an algae scraper* to clean the aquarium glass gently.

Use a gravel cleaner* to empty around 25% of the aquarium water.

Remove and rinse the Filter Media in the old aquarium water. Then place into Filter Body.

Carefully refill the aquarium with the conditioned water.

Replace all equipment in the aquarium. Check that your hands and power plugs are dry, and turn the power back on.

Check that all equipment is working correctly over the next half hour.
