Troubleshooting

If you are having a problem that can’t be solved by following these steps, take the item to your Aqua One retailer for inspection, as many issues may be resolved with a replacement part or an adjustment.

The external flexible cables on the LED Light and Pump cannot be replaced. If a cable is damaged, the unit should be replaced.

No Water Flow • Check that power is available and connected correctly. • Pump may be clogged. Clean the pump, see Monthly Maintenance, page 11 . • Check the pump, see Diagnosing Pump Problems page 14. • Water level in the aquarium may be too low. Top up the aquarium. • Filter Intake may be clogged. Remove any materian blocking the Intake. • Filter Media bay be clogged. Rinse Filter Media to remove excess detritus. Pump is noisy and Filter is releasing bubbles

Temperature is incorrect

• Ensure that there is sufficient water flow around the heater. • If the temperature is too high, check that the heater has turned off. If the room temperature is high,

the water temperature may be too high regardless of the heater setting. • If the temperature is too low, check that power is available to the heater.

• Check and clean the Pump. • Position the skimmer lower so that the internal water level is higher. • Ensure that the Air Intake Silencer is clear and above the water level. Protein Skimmer is Not Collecting Waste • Position the skimmer higher so that the internal water level is lower. • Ensure that the Air Intake Silencer is clear and above the water level. Protein Skimmer is Collecting Mostly Water
