Pump Head Maintenance Maintenance cont.

Turn the Pump Head over. Remove the Grommet with a flat head screwdriver*, then twist the Impeller Cover clockwise to remove it.

Remove the Impeller taking care not to damage the ceramic shaft. A pair of pliers* can help grip the Impeller.

Dismantle the Impeller assembly and rinse with tap water. Pay particular attention to the hole through the centre of the Impeller.

Turn the Flow Diverter clockwise until it disengages from the Primer Outlet.

Remove the Flow Diverter Elbow and Flow Diverter together. Remove the Flow Diverter from the Elbow.

Use a pipe brush* to clean all channels in the Pump Head.

Use a soft cloth* and brush* to clean all other fittings for the Pump Head.

Replace all fittings onto the Pump Head, and ensure they are correctly in place.

• Test the seal, see Testing the Seal, page 8. • Check all fittings. • Prime the filter, see Priming the Filter, pages 11. • Turn on the filter, check that water flows correctly, and there are no leaks. • Check again in 30 minutes.

Lubricate all O-rings before continuing. See Cleaning and Lubricating O-Rings, page 17.

Replace the Pump Head and lock down the Clips. Reattach the Quick Release Taps and lock it in place.
